Building an Arab society believing in the importance of
science, depending on scientific research as a main way to achieve every thing and put our Arab world
on top.
Mission
Our mission is to change peopleï؟½s mindset about science & scientific research and create a linking
chain between scientific research, business and society.
Festival Days Outline:
First Day 23/7: (10 am to 10 pm)
- Fair starts at 10 am
- Sessions and seminars conducted starting at 3 am till 5:30 pm
- Opening Ceremony Start at 6 am till 8 pm
- University Versus Civil society
Second Day 24/7: (10 am to 8pm)
- Fair starts at 10
- Sessions and seminars starts at 2 pm till 7:30 pm
- Successful models under the spot light part1 (Part 2 in Closing Ceremony)
Third Day 25/7: (10 am to 11pm)
- Fair starts at 10 am
- Sessions starts at 2 pm till 5:30 pm
- Closing ceremony starts at 6 pm
- Ending ceremony by a singer
That is beside a lot of parallel activities insuring that science can be fun
Activities details:
EGY science fair
The festival will have a fair showing inventions , scientific innovations, researches and projects. The fair also will include
representative organizations from civil society. Business innovations will be shown through youth startups which is
based on an innovative product or a new technology beside companies showing their new technologies.
A competition will be held between inventions and projects for 10,000 EGP prizes and funding opportunities. Judging is
based mainly on the criteria of having the combination between science, a good business model and a positive impact
on the society. Visitors rate projects through closed boxes and affect judging by 20% so as to ensure the ability to reach
people.
Academic corner
Academic corner will include a series of sessions, workshops and seminars which will be operated by training professionals
, researchers, scientists and companies.

1- Egypt and the Future (Based on scientific research)
- Future of scientific research in Egypt
- The role of the Corridor of development in the future of Egypt
- New role of ICT for poverty reduction in Egypt
- Role of information technology for creating transparent culture and fighting corruption
- Role of intelligent transportation systems to create a sustainable future of transportation in Egypt
2- Entrepreneurship
- How to promote innovative enterprises and startups in Egypt
- Social entrepreneurship
3- Information Technology
- Cloud computing a new era of information technology
- A group of sessions and workshops for IT held by reputable companies
5- Business technical sessions:
- A group of essential sessions for business as marketing, sales, project management and more
6ï؟½ Employment essentials and personal skills
- A group of sessions for employment essentials such as CV writing, interviewing skills
- A group of sessions working on personal skills such as teamwork, communication skills and more
Successful models under the spotlight
Successful models are introduced to people to know more how they reached what they have done, take some of their
experience in life. Give youth the push to be more successful
Speakers will include scientists, business men and civil society figures
University VS Civil society
A panel discussion is held university (representing research society) versus civil society. The panel is aiming to reach how can scientific
research and university make civil society more effective and powerful beside how can civil society help research society
to move on a more effective track and with faster steps
Parallel Activities
A group of activities will be conducted to prove that science can be fun, some of it:
- A 30 meter Graffiti wall for any one to draw on
- Take a photo with El-Gazary the Robot
- Treasure hunt
EGY science magazine
Featuring the event scientific magazine containing articles on the recent scientific discoveries,
future of research in Egypt, also various interesting articles by scientists and researchers
