The International Day of Giving, #GivingTuesday, is tomorrow (11/30/2021 Tuesday). This is an opportunity to donate towards a Spiritual Center in Sacramento.

To increase our chances of receiving a matching donation from Facebook, you are encouraged to follow the instructions below. There is a cap to the funds available for matching by Facebook and it works on a first come, first served basis. If you are not able to donate early, you are still encouraged to donate towards a future center in Sacramento as the event lasts 14 days . 

#GivingTuesday Facebook Matching Fundraiser Instructions

1.On your computer or phone go to the Link tomorrow Tuesday, November 30 (FB matching officially starts at 5am PST)

2. Click on the DONATE tab on the fundraiser page and enter the amount of your donation and the payment method, etc.. Note the green donate tab on the bottom of the payment page. Don’t press it yet!

3. Timing is of the utmost importance for FB to match your donations! (use an accurate clock such as your cellphone)

At EXACTLY 5:00am, or a few seconds thereafter, click on the green donate tab at the bottom of the payment page. That’s it. 

Please Note:

Facebook will provide the legal receipt for your donation as they handle all aspects of this transaction. This is a tax-exempt donation that you can use toward your 2021 tax return filing.
