Thanks to those who have already registered and a gentle reminder/ request to other parents who have not yet registered. The deadline is fast approaching and registering early will help us in organizing the camp better with regards to the ordering t shirts ( the right sizes etc) and meeting your child's needs. On behalf of the Detroit ISKCON Temple, we are pleased to announce and would like to invite all children ages 5 and above to the second annual Summer KRSNA KidZ Camp 2014!
Many of you have been participating in Krsna Kidz camp over the past six years during thanksgiving weekend.We have been hard at work to bring new and exciting programs to your children! Summer camp is our earnest attempt to engage the kids for a week starting from June 23th to June 27th to develop spiritual values and character.Please find details about when, where and how you can register for the camp.
As always we will have prasadam lunch and snacks everyday, music classes, dramas, loads of arts & craft activities, and FREE camp T Shirt! All kids will have an opportunity to perform on the last day for you! Come and be amazed at how much your kids have learned and how much fun they had! You can have fun too as we will have a wonderful program for you on Friday, June 27th in the later part of the evening.

How can you Register
You will be able to register your child online for ages 5 and above and you can pay using Paypal (takes less then 5 minutes). Traditional paper registration is also available. On our website, we have incorporated fun links for your children to explore as well as a camp blog to keep you informed. You can view camp schedules, rules, bhajans, fun pictures and videos. Please note Registration is limited to 60 spots on a first come first serve basis.
Cost for the 5 day camp is $140.
Transportation
* BUS SERVICE FROM Iskcon Farmington center (ex Priya Restaurant) - The bus will be leaving Iskcon Farmington center in the morning at 8.00 AM and returning back from Hare Krishna temple in the evening at 5.00 PM. Parents will be responsible for drop off and pick up of their child from the Farmington Center. Bus service will run all 5 weekdays.
BUS SERVICE FROM TROY- We will have bus service from Troy as well, provided we have enough children. We will need at-least 15 children from Troy to provide transportation services.
