A fe years ago I let a friend use my iPhone to access his Netflix account and I guess that he must have saved his username and password in 1Password.
Now (when I go to the Netflix page) it autofills HIS username and password.
I have searched for "Netflix", his username, but it does it show up in Password.
Where can it be coming from?
1Password never auto-fills any information (1Password's filling requires your prompting), so as Stephen_C mentioned it is something else (possibly/most likely iCloud Keychain) that is filling those details in.
I was logged in to apple tv today and wanted to access my netflix account that does not have the same apple id email. It has now told me my apple id and password are not valid. I reset it on my ipad and still all devices are not accepting the password. I have sense cleared my id's in netflix and mlb, but stilll not able to login to anything.
netflix account info and apple id info are totally separate. You could use the same email and password for both but not necessarily, but even if this is the case, they are totally independent of each other.
So I visited my in laws yesterday and they explained they have has issues with virgin, so basically they can not get into Netflix on virgin media, when they open Netflix it has other peoples profiles on there and they have locked it with a pin. So I logged onto their Netflix account on my phone but their Netflix account is fine so it appears that someone has hacked their virgin media account and registered their own Netflix account.
I then tried to log on to virgin media to see if I can fix the issue from there, but virgin media doesn't recognise my father in laws email even when I try to reset the password your website does not have his email registered, which is strange because he receives emails from you regarding billing.
My father in law has spent weeks trying to speak to someone to help him and when he finally gets through to someone they hang up the phone on him. He has now lost his patience and sent an email and written letter to you explaining the issues, his bank advised he cancels his standing order to you which he has done but the only contact he has had from you is a letter advising him that his payments have stopped but no contact number or manager to call to discuss this.
He wants to cancel and move to sky, though I have advised in his area he gets much better coverage from virgin. This is causing him a lot of upset because he is not great with technology and he cant get through to someone to help him fix the issue, also him paying for this package is outrageous that he can not access this because someone has hacked him.
Thank you for reaching out to us in our community and welcome, we are sorry to hear your Father- In-Law is having issues with Netflix Via the box even though OK when signing in via your phone, we would need to have a look however as it is an Online account issue this is only something we can help the account holder with, are you able to call us when with him so we can help with all the below, if he belies he has been hacked the first thing is to change the Online Account password, select forgotten username and password first then answer the additional questions then change the password to something totally different to previously used.
These are indeed profoundly suspicious Number-6 and have been going on for ages. Have a search on this forum of "Spanish" and there are posts going back at least 14 months. At one stage the issue allegedly reached the Chief Exec's office. However the scam merrily continues. As es la vida cuando eres cliente de Virgin Media.

Follow the instructions on screen, after you have created the file, you have to open it with Netflix add-on by choosing the login with "Authentication key". Remember to delete the Authentication key file after login.
I managed to get this to work, by downloading the NFA KEY zip files on windows PC. Did the extraction, executed the application . It loaded Chrome browser which auto nivigated to netflix page, to which i put in my username and password. Chrome closed, and key was generated in same folder as application. It popped up with a PIN.
If you can access Netflix via Optik TV, then you have a Netflix account. Whether you pay TELUS, who then pays Netflix on your behalf, or if you pay Netflix directly, you must have a Netflix account. When I say Netflix credentials, I mean specifically a Netflix username and password - you would have signed in with this the first time you accessed Neflix on your Optik equipment.
Channel 422 on your Optik TV 4K or HD PVR/Wireless Digital Box is simply a Netflix app launcher shortcut. The TELUS TV+ apps and web client do not have this channel 422 shortcut; simply download and open the Netflix app or navigate to netflix.com and use the same Netflix credentials you use on your Optik equipment.
HBO live channels are channels 400 and 401, Crave movie channels are channels 406-409. The On Demand catalog for Crave can be found in the app in the On Demand section, navigating to Channels and selecting Crave. These should all be available in the TELUS TV+ app and at telustvplus.com.
At netflix.com I attempted, unsuccessfully, to log in using my email address and the password I use to log into Optik on my browser (telustvplus.com). Is that what you mean by "Netflix credentials"? Note that I do not have a Netflix account. I can only access Netflix via Optik, which of course works fine on a TV.
On the login page, Inspect Element the username and password fields and take note of their name (or id, if no name is given) attributes. For example on Khan Academy, that would be identifier for the username and password for the password.
Enter your credentials on the page in this form and hit submit. Firefox will now prompt you to save the credentials. The website will probably burp up an error or ignore the request or something, but we don't care about that.
Why does this work? Some sites deliberately do something funny to prevent you saving the password (the browser's remember password feature is often seen as insecure); other sites just have a funny form mangled beyond recognition for Firefox. Adding this simple form makes Firefox detect it and when you enter your credentials, it will prompt you to save them.
Now on the login page, as long as the fields actually have name attributes at all I guess (and it probably needs to be wrapped in a too, I don't know), Firefox will typically recognize the fields and be able to fill them for you.
Since Firefox 70.0 this is now a built-in feature in the password manager (Firefox Lockwise). To access it navigate to the saved password list or type about:logins in the address bar; At the bottom left corner click the Create New Login.
To simplify the advice by the top poster, the reason the feature doesn't work on some websites, whilst working on others, is due to the non-standard and/or malicious code used by enterprise websites like Hertz.com.
Since Firefox sometimes fights me on certain websites, the solution I've developed is using another browser such as Chrome and saving the username/password there. Then you can import the login information for the specific website from that other browser.
It creates dummy input fields on the page where you enter (or update) your credentials and when you click the "Save my Password!" button, Firefox will ask you to save (or update) your password for the page.
Create a CSV file.
You can do this with an ordinary text editor: or go into Firefox Options, Security, Passwords, and export your current passwords into a CSV file instead of the default XML file.
Edit this file with a text editor (or spreadsheet).
