Gen6 node erasure

Having some issues we never encountered before, relating to erasing of our old Gen6 A200 and A2000 nodes.

Previously we could just dban these prior to trade in as a belts and braces cleanup on our end.
With Gen6 the mini hdmi is just for dell diags and apparently according to our account rep these cannot be enabled for stuff like dban.

Tried Shredos, dban, aban with no joy even when appending ttyS0 config on grub bootup.

Has anyone succeeded in booting any erasure or even cut down linux installs off of gen6 nodes?

You could always pull the drives and run them through a degausser.  There should be services available if you do not own one.  By policy, we remove drives from all hardware and have them physically shredded

What about the built-in facility, OneFS Instant Secure Erase?
