Recently updated a 3rd party tool for OneFS v7.1.1.2 and saw some errors with capacity for the file system on the nodes (The /(root) partition is near capacity (97.3% used)). Any ideas on reducing space?

Checked each of the steps in https://support.emc.com/kb/464118, but I can't seem to reduce any more.

This won't tell you what to remove, but you can see current usage per directory via the following command pipeline:

du -xk / | sort -nr | less

Bottom line though, 500M is not very big.    My x200 & x210 nodes have a 1G / partition with about 500M in use.  Can your third party tool be installed into /ifs instead?

Hi Dan, Thanks for the response. This is helpful. The older nodes have a very small partition. Since the 3rd party software installs from an SSH script, I think I'd break everything if I tried to link to it elsewhere (an older version ships with ifs). Might just have to revert to the older version. Thanks for your help! Jamie
