In the middle of a busy day, one of my new A200s was delivered.  I'd heard these units were a bit 'deeper' than the NL nodes.

I cracked open the box and measured 36" front to back.   Looking at my IBM racks they are ~40" tight - front to back with the doors closed.

I'm not sure how far the cables stick out on these things, What size rack do I need to mount the gen6 stuff?

Thanks

Scott

3rd party racks do work, but as you indicated , it’s a tight fit, especially in the context of a door set, aka for the back.

You can follow for all Gen6 the same process as HD400 with exception to A2000, aka using Dell-EMC TitanD racks.

In regards to the A2000 ( read 40in deep), you can use APC 3350 or Dell-EMC Titan HD. In all 3 scenarios, the equipment can be supplied by your DELL-EMC team.

We've got 2 freshly installed A2000 (not A200) at the bottom of ours 120 cm depth Minkels racks.
It's _very_ tight but manageable with the door and the cable. I've joined a mixup of images showing
what is going on.
