Time for BellyDance – BellyRock!!
This Thursday night March 13, Ishtar will be playing two 45 minute sets of traditional Middle Eastern music with the patented Ishtar BellyRock twist at Your Inner Vagabond. The music starts at 9 with open floor dancing.
Our featured dancer on March 13 is Aviva, who has performed to us previously at the Altar Bar and Murphy’s Tap Room.
Come enjoy the sumptuous snacks and drinks of Your Inner Vagabond, as well as their exceedingly lovely Middle Eastern ambience.
$7 cover. BYOB. All ages. Children 5-14 are $3, under 5 are free. 4130 Butler St in Lawrenceville 15201.
On Thursday March 27, Ishtar performs at the opening night festivities of the 15th Annual Pittsburgh Jewish Israeli Film Festival at the Southside Works Theater. We will be playing at the opening night reception around 9PM.
On Friday March 29, Ishtar will be playing at the SCA Qaina Bellydance event in Akron Ohio at the Tadmor Shrine Center 3000 Krebs Dr, Akron, OH 44319 . Mark and Melissa will be co-teaching a workshop: Middle Eastern Music for All Instruments around 4PM. Ishtar plays for the open floor hafla at 8PM.
