Hello family, friends and fans of Ishtar!
This April, Ishtar turns 2 years old! I’d like to thank everyone who has supported Ishtar during the first two years of our BellyRock-ness!
And now it is about time we record a CD, so all of you can enjoy Ishtar’s unique BellyRock music any time of the day or night.
But we need a little help from our fans, family and friends. So to raise some more funds, Ishtar will be playing an all ages show on Friday April 11 at Your Inner Vagabond (4130 Butler St, Lawrenceville 15201). The one, the only, incomparable PhatManDee will be emceeing the show! We will be joined by our diversely musical friends Between Liberties and Agnes Wired For Sound. All three of the bands are going to be recording this spring, so the proceeds from the show will go toward each band’s recording expenses.
Each band will have limited edition merchandise giveaways for the fans who attend the April 11 show! Brand new Ishtar T-shirts and CDs of our live show on WRCT. Be the first fan to have Ishtar merchandise! Supplies are extremely limited.
Special bonus: Melissa (that is me) will be bellydancing to Agnes Wired For Sound. As I haven’t danced in public for over 4 years, this will be a rare occurrence.
Cover for April 11 is $10 adults. $5 for children under 14.
Progressive folk trio, Between Liberties is fronted by our friend Emay. Agnes Wired For Sound performs edgy electronic industrial songs.
