Next weekend will prove to be a busy one for us! On April 25, Ishtar will be playing from 5:30 to 9:00 PM at the Backstage Bar as part of the Downtown Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl. Our featured dancer is Ayleeza of White Plains, NY. (www.ayleeza.com) The Backstage Bar show is FREE and all ages. The Backstage is at 655 Penn Avenue, between the O'Reilly Theater and Katz Plaza.
On Saturday April 26, our dancer friend Ayleeza will be performing at Hookah Bookah 2506 E Carson St. across from the SouthSide Works from 10PM until midnight. Her talented percussionist husband Julian will be accompanying her.
On Sunday April 27, Ishtar will be playing the classics of Bellydance from 2-3PM at the Carnegie Main Library in Oakland as part of the World Kaliedescope series. This FREE, all ages performance will be held in the Quiet Reading room on the first floor.
In addition to all the great bellydancing in Pittsburgh that weekend, Ishtar will be recording at Mr Smalls studio on the North Side! Soon, you will be able to BellyRock out to Ishtar in your car, home, or workplace. Ishtar T-shirts also make the perfect gift!
May 8 is the next BellyDance BellyRock Series with Ishtar at Your Inner Vagabond! $7 cover and our featured dancers are Nesheli and Deena!
