Another Cartoon

Everybody knows Moby Dick.  He's been in the movies and on tv.  But some cartoons are more like in-jokes for Melville fans.

The scene is a coffee bar.  A woman is placing her order with the man behind the bar. "Can you make me a tall tazo chai latte

with soy milk?" she asks. That is all the dialogue there is.  But the cartoon caption reads, "BARTLEBY, THE SOON-TO-BE-UNEMPLOYED BARISTA."  We can guess what Bartleby's answer is.
