Dear all,
(Specially Li-san, Judi-san, Kevin-san, Yoshida-san, Teramura-san)
As we had the first session of study group today(right after the
seminar)
I should mention few things just to remind.
The books to study are:
* Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning -Bishop
* Bayesian Reasoning and Machine Learning -Barber
(http://www.cs.ucl.ac.uk/staff/d.barber/brml)
* Bayesian Time Series Models -Barber
The next Session is:
Next Friday Oct. 21th, After Seminar
The reading material for the week:
* PRML: Chapter 1 -> Li San
* PRML: Chapter 2 -> Kevin San
* BRML: Chapter 1 -> Kourosh San
* PRML: Chapter 13 -> Kevin San
(most of them are introduction to statistics but we want to make sure
not
to miss important things for next weeks)
