Imam Malik on the Rawaafid Shi'a

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته,

It is related by al-Khallaal, from Abi Bakr al-Marroodhee who said: I
heard Aba ’Abdullah saying: Imam Malik bin Anas said, “The one who
reviles the Companions of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) does not
have any share in Islam.” [1]

And when Ibn Kathir رحمه الله mentioned the statement of Allah:

“Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh
against the disbelievers, merciful amongst themselves..." [48:29]

He stated, “So due to this ayah, Imam Malik رحمه الله inclined, in one
narration from him, towards takfeer of the Rawaafid (Shi'a) who hate
the Companions (رضي الله عنهم). He said: Because they enraged them,
and whosoever enrages the Companions (رضي الله عنهم), then he is a
disbeliever due to this ayah. And a group from amongst the Scholars
(رضي الله عنهم) agreed with him upon that.” [2]

And al-Qurtubi رحمه الله commented, “Indeed, Malik did well in his
statement and he reached the correct explanation. So whoever belittles
a single one of them or reviles him in his narration, then he has
rejected Allah, the Lord of the worlds and he has nullified the
Shari’ah of the Muslims.” [3]

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله, Brother Samir (abo Risas), you started a topic that many will start offend you , so I have some words for you. 1- Well, have patience and I am with you to clear any points about Rawaafid Shia. 2- Remember most of Muslims don't know the truth about Shia, this is your first enemy the illiteracy about Shia among our brothers. 3- Most of Shia books are in Arabic or Farsi 4- start this topic under this title, (To our beloved brothers who say unit with Shia!!!) _______________________________________ I will end up with 3 statements and an OPEN 2 questions to my brothers in the Masjid: a- I consider Shiasim is differnet religion, I have a lot of their source and what Ulamma said about them including Imam Malik, Abu Hanifa, Shafeii, Ahmad Bin Hanbal. b- Don't you know Shia consider Sunni are Kaffir (in Arabic they called us Nawaseb) and this is in their books. c- The real unity of Umma is the unity under the Quran and Sunna, FYI Shia dont have Sunna at all. The Open question: 1- Ask yourself brother what Ulamama said about a perosn who say the Quran has been Alrtered and Corrputed by Sahabas? and believe in other Quran other than ours? 2- Ask yourself brother what Ulamma said about a person who insult the mothers of believers (Hazarat Aisha and Hafsaa Radeya Allah Anhom) and even said Hazarat Aisha the mother of believers commect adultery? while Allah in Quran prove her innocent.
