WASM WR WB,

JZK Rafi for posting it. JZKK Riaz bhai for compiling it.
I missed this presentation as I couldn't join the meeting that day. MashAllah amazing accomplishments for a relatively small community. May Allah bless more Barakah and guide us all on the straight path. Aameen.

Asslam O Allacum,

I am sure everyone knows about the flood disaster in Pakistan which left lots of people stranded in the tents with no supplies and cloth. Hidaya is making some arrangements to ship used cloth to the disaster area.

If you want to participate in this great cause, below is some additional information

-          Make sure that clothes are clean and wearable condition

-          Include only, clothes, comforters, blankets, gloves, jackets, sweaters – absolutely no food, medicine or perishable items

-          Deliver clothes to the address below on Wednesday Nov. 10 between 5 and 7 PM. Delivering after the timeline will not do any good.

-          Loosely stitch clothes together as one item (i.e., shalwar+kameez+scarf)

-          To make things easier, please also help tie the clothes separately for kids, gents, ladies – when putting in the box and label it “Kids”, “ Gents”, “Ladies”, etc. We will separate these and re-pack it per these 3-categories. Otherwise sorting out each and every cloth will take for ever

-          Clothes will be delivered by student volunteers to Hidaya Foundation in San Jose

-          Hidaya is requesting that we also donate towards shipping cost, they are suggesting $20 per box or as much possible. If you need a receipt, please put your donation in an envelope along with your name and address and we will ask Hidaya to send receipt directly to you.  Preferably make a check payable to Hidaya Foundation – no cash.

Jazzakallah Khair.
