ASAK Brothers

While we are meeting, discussing and thinking, there are couple of things we can do that does not cost much, actually we "must" do:

1. Give some sadaqa
2. Make dua that Allah SWT give us the wisdom to make "Right" decisions.
3. Start coming to daily prayers in Musallah and offer Salat with jamath especially Fajr and Isha.
$. Let us get up in the Tahajjud and make dua to Allah swt to make it easy and provide the resources to build the masjid. Allah SWT's help can come in zillion ways.  Just like we are meeting we must try to do this at least once a  week say on Friday night. We can doTahajjud  in our homes. You will see the wonders. Things may take time and it is for good reasons. We will learn that later.
6. The prophet Sal used to tell his companions to be always hopeful, positive and not be despondent (hopeless) and put the trust in Allah.
7. Make mashwara and Istiqara. Keep our hearts open.
8. Last but not least keep up the chin!

Allahu Alam
I urge myself first to do this and humbly  encourage all the brothers to try to do this.
Allah swt will put barakath in our community and things will happen easily like before.

oh, one more important thing, sorry forgot to mention.

There are several brothers and sisters that are working very hard and sincerely to sustain and improve the ISF/FCS programs. We need to encourage them in a positive way to continue what they are doing and help them if we can. Lets make dua for them also. Lets be show facilitators inshallah. May Allah SWT give me the taufik first to do this.  The community is growing and more and more brothers and sisters are getting involved and inshallah more will get involved as we move Forward. Rome was not built in one day, all great works take time to finish!

Assalam o Allaikumm all,

These are good suggestions Riaz bhai and I pray to Allah that give us taufiq that we follow through.  Besides asking Allah to guide us we need to have all the home work done and explore each and every options that we can come up with.  IN my view, we will get  Masjid Bilal completed with Allah’s help and may be UR is what Allah is guiding us to explore.  We should seriously explore the option of Owner finance  as this could be blessing in disguise.

I see a lot of energy and enthusiasm which is a good indication from Allah o Tala, lets leverage this to move things fast.  Consider, opportunities of having a place which we can pay off in 2-3 years vs. building Masjid Bilal in 2-3 years time frame with a loan which could last a longer time.  Separate emotions from realities and this is what Alllah Tala wants to show us.

We need to understand our current situation and plan for a stress free 2-5 years.  I would like to suggest that we sit and come up with strategic options.  IN the mean time please do not discard any option available now  as we do not know what Allah Tala wants us to do.  All the options are taking us to a permanent place to pray, zikr and socialization in the name of Allah.

What is the best way to understand our current position i.e., Assets, liabilities and Cash Flow?  How can we come up with this?

I shared my thoughts exactly the way I feel and I ask for forgiveness if I said anything that might have heard any of our brothers.

Thanks

JZK

Nadim
