Meeting Reminder: Tonight after Isha

Assalamu alaikum,

Just a reminder about the meeting tonight after Isha. I did not receive much feedback on the agenda, so we will go with what is proposed below in shaa Allaah.

Let's all pray 2 Rakahs Salatul Istikhaarah / Salatul Haajah before the meeting begging Allaah (SWT) to help us say and do the right things tonight and going forward.

 

We have some important items to discuss tonight in shaa Allaah, so please plan on attending.

Agenda:

1. Fine-tune the list of options and pros/cons of each option (10 mins)

2. Determine timelines for each option (15 mins)

3. Determine next steps for each option  (15 mins)

4. Go over any quotes we have for the MBL option (Option 2 in the "Summary of Options" email)   (10 mins)

5. Go over any quotes we have for the UR option (Option 4 in the "Summary of Options" email)   (10 mins)

6. How about hearing from the MB architect and similar people who can give us real and credible estimates and advice? Should we conference-call with such people if they can't make it in person?

7. Wrap-up and Q&A  (15 mins)

Things to do BEFORE the meeting:

 

1. PLEASE note that we can save ourselves some meeting time if we get started on these items offline over email. For eg: if you have any quotes (items #5 or #6) , please start a thread with that subject "Quotes for the MBL option" , or "Quotes for the UR option" so people can start digesting that information rather than attempting to do that in the meeting.

 

2. Also, please start sending in your questions (JAK Br. Siraj for sending yours already) so we can add them to the list and have them answered hopefully before the meeting.

 

3. AR Ateeq: To compile list of all questions received by Wed. morning and send it out on list.

 

4. AR All : If you have questions or more points to add to the "Summary of Options", please do so now, rather than waiting for the meeting. We will not be able to dedicate much time to that topic this time around. So please send your concerns and make sure they're captured correctly.

 

5. AR Ateeq: To incorporate feedback from Br. Riaz and Br. Pasha to the "Summary of Options" and send out updated version.

 

6. AR All: Responsible people please go ahead and answer questions that are already available in the "AR's and FAQ's" thread if you know the answers to them.
