CalculatorSoup is a free online calculator. Here you will find free loan, mortgage, time value of money, math, algebra, trigonometry, fractions, physics, statistics, time & date and conversions calculators. Many of the calculator pages show work or equations that help you understand the calculations. North Carolina educators were recruited and trained to write new items. The diversity among item writers and their knowledge of the current standards was addressed during recruitment. Trained North Carolina educators also review items and suggest improvements, if necessary. The use of North Carolina educators to write and review items strengthens evidence of content validity of EOC assessments.

Subsequently, Academic Standards and Test Development staff from the NCDPI met to review the recommendations from the teacher panels and adopt final weight distributions across the domains for each course.

Some content standards in the NCSCOS for Mathematics will not be directly assessed in the tests because either (1) the standard cannot be appropriately assessed during a limited time test using multiple-choice and/or gridded-response items and/or technology-enhanced items or (2) the standard is better assessed through another, more inclusive standard.

The EOC NC Math 1 Test will include both calculator inactive and calculator active sections. Both sections will consist of four-response-option multiple-choice, gridded response/numeric entry, and technology-enhanced item types. All items will be worth one point each.

The EOC NC Math 3 Test will include only calculator active items. The EOC NC Math 3 Test will consist of four-response-option multiple-choice, gridded response/numeric entry, and technology-enhanced item types. All items will be worth one point each.

The EOC Mathematics Tests are provided only in English. Native language translation versions are not available. North Carolina G.S.115C-81.45(a) requires all teachers and principals to conduct all classes other than foreign language classes in English.

Students in NC Math 1 and NC Math 3 must be provided a graphing calculator. The online version of these tests has an online calculator option. Released items may be used by public school units to acquaint students with items. These materials must not be used for personal or financial gain, are copyrighted to the NCDPI, and cannot be uploaded into third party applications. Released items may be accessed via NCTest by clicking on the released items icon.

Need a calculator for your math class at PVCC? Please fill out the form below to request a calculator rental. As of August 1, 2023, we are no longer accepting calculator extensions. Calculator rentals are for PVCC students who are registered for Math courses for this semester. Please be aware that rentals are first-come, first-served and there are limited quantities.

The Math Resource Center is located in the Science, Engineering and Math Center (2G4/5) just inside SEM Entry 2 from parking Lot A and SEM Entry 4 from parking Lots F and G. It provides free services intended to supplement mathematics learning for college students.

Students enrolled in courses that require graphing calculators may lease a graphing calculator for a $25 fee per semester. This fee can be paid at the Bursar Office (cash or check only) or online through the Student Portal Self-Service (credit card or electronic check). The Mathematics Computer Lab is located in the Math Resource Center . There are over 100 computers for student use. Students can work on their MyMathLab and ConnectMath homework. Computers in the Math Lab have complete access to the Internet. From here you can access unlimited resources including faculty web pages.

The "Good Calculators" project is a group of high functioning online calculators which have been carefully programmed to work on computers, smart phones and tablets. This project is ongoing and is meant for there to be a calculator for any of our communities needs, whether they be personal or business.

We understand that our project may be seen as nerdy, but it is our passion to provide this service and make all of our calculators as simple to use as we possibly can. Whenever we can we provide a detailed step-by-step guide for all of the calculations or equations that you have entered into our calculators so that you fully understand how our calculator got to its answer. This not only gets you the answer that you wanted but also gives you an insight into how all of our calculators work.

We currently have over 350 calculators helping you do math in not only the finance department or helping with your homework, but also weight loss, pregnancy and a lot more. We are constantly working towards developing a wider variety of calculators to provide our community with.

The Math Tutoring Center is a place for GVSU students to get FREE help online and in person for their math courses. Tutoring is done by GVSU undergraduate students. We are here to help with content, calculators, and more! Bring specific questions and be prepared to participate!

The Math Placement Exam 4 (MPE4) will determine which math course you are placed in for your first semester at Texas A&M University. Proper placement in your first math course is critical to your success in the College of Engineering. The MPE4 is offered in an online, proctored setting via Zoom. All students admitted to the College of Engineering (COE) must complete their MPE4 prior to attending their New Student Conference. Testing for new COE students admitted for Fall 2024 will begin on May 13 and continue through early June. Exam date availability is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so please do not delay. The earlier you complete your exam, the more options you will have to become calculus ready for the fall semester.

The MPE4 is an online 33-question, non-calculator exam that takes 90 minutes to complete. It will test your knowledge of algebra, trigonometry, logarithms, exponentials, etc. While it does not test your calculus knowledge, you should take it seriously and prepare for the exam well ahead of your scheduled testing date (i.e., review material, self-study and take practice exams).

For General Engineering students: Scoring 22 (67%) or higher on the MPE4 and demonstrating readiness to enroll in Calculus I (MATH 151) during your first semester in the College of Engineering is the first step toward earning your engineering degree within four years. You should do everything you can to be calculus-ready by the time you begin classes.

All incoming students are required to take the online Test for Readiness and Aptitude in Mathematics (TRAM) math placement exam. The deadline is June 1, 2024. Please note that accepted students will need to complete the exam to receive a class schedule.

Students whose performance on this test indicates proficiency in these skills will be placed in the appropriate calculus course for their major. In order to prepare for this exam, we recommend that you review the topics listed above and practice doing some examples without the use of your calculator. Students with disabilities seeking accommodations for the math placement exam must have approval from the Specialized Resource Center (SRC). Students must submit disability documentation to the SRC for approval prior to logging in to take the exam. Please allow enough time to review documentation and determine if accommodations are appropriate.
