I am a noob, I admit it. So I am asking for some help. I have nearly a dozen soul shields in my inventory. Dura, blackram, lumang, stone monster, and others. What do I do with these? I am running out of inventory room.

The soul shields i usually just salvage the ones im not using. As for the Valor stones around level 26 there is a area with one of the wheels that excepts them to spin the wheel. Not sure if these are the best options just what i do.

Dismantle all your soul shields, the ones you should be using is the ones you easily get from the first wheel until you get to Jadestone Village. Once you get there you can use 8 Viridian Valor Stones and purchase your Viridian soul shields from the vendor near the vaultkeeper which will last you until you get to Act 2. Save up 8 Cinderlands Valor Stones and do it again for the Cinderlands Soul Shield once you reach the town that sells it.

Concept - Mass drain focus with Citzal's Spirit Lance and use soul annihilation for mass slaughter. This build has extremely high defenses thanks to equipment, various wizard defense spells, and the amazing cipher spell Borrowed Instinct. We also have spectacular accuracy and crit nearly every hit. Use Pull of Eora to group enemies so we can maximally build focus and annihilate souls. Slaughter kith, wilders, monsters, and...destructibles, to drain their souls and build max focus. This build works with any alignment but is particularly suited for EVIL playthroughs as you're rewarded for slaughtering everything for their souls and their spells. I even killed a temple full of Dawnstars. But not the younglings...

Why play this class? I was inspired towards soul blade builds after watching Sarcastic Sarcophagae's ultimate run using a soul blade / ranger, and I started thinking about whether we really needed the ranger part, and no, you don't, though ranger makes it easier to proc focus gain since you can kill the pet over and over. I wanted to create a god-like character that felt like a kensai/mage from Baldur's Gate 2. Capable of single-handedly blitzkrieging large groups of enemies. Despite being a blood mage multiclass, we use very few offensive spells. This is very much a melee build and ideal for a no-rest run.

Cabalist's Gambeson and Strand of Favor are used to extend many buffs, most important of which is the soul blade's max focus buff. For every melee kill you get +10 max focus for IDK, something like 60 seconds, but we can extend that and end up with 15000+ focus by late game, which translates to starting battles with something like 3500 focus! This lets us zerg dangerous enemies when needed, or whenever we feel like it.

One relevant note about my pathing. It was not well planned. I should not have gone to Sandswept immediately for the slight XP boost, it cost me later and delayed acquistion of both Shroud of the Phantasm and Lord Darryn's Voulge. I had to get to the Sanguine Harvest island on the 16th (has to be the 16th) for several reasons. You can get the sword, which has really nice healing passives. And you can get the sword again. And again, and again. After a day of repeating that encounter I emerged quite possibly the richest adventurer in Eora, and I drained a few hundred souls for focus in the meantime, so as Korgan would say. "Sigh...a good day".

@Not So Clever HoundThanks, first guy looks pretty beefy. You don't even have Scordeo's procced there do you? Kinda a one-trick pony I'm guessing though? Not that there's anything wrong with that if it's a really good trick. My guy's trick is to explode groups of enemies with soul annihilation.

Part of why hierophant is so good is the +20 acc from borrowed instinct means fewer grazes, plus hammering thoughts is universal +1 pen. Makes a big difference especially since the cipher buff / debuff spells are super fast casts compared to e.g. expose vulnerability. Plus with soul blade you can just zerg things with raw damage.

But...I prefer Citzal's Lance. By the time you have procced conduit you do about 200 damage per hit per target, far far more when using soul annihilation, so while its single target damage is lower than Spider's Patience, it handles groups better and is still plenty strong. Spider's Patience would be better for bosses but they generally aren't a problem regardless.

She lived happily under the tutelage of Jiwan who showered her with motherly affection and love. Jiwan hoped that Jinsoyun would one day overcome the Dark Chi that still threatened to overcome her soul.

At the altar within the Palace, Sanzu reveals herself as Zulia and the reason for taking Jinsoyun captive is to remove the fragment of the Twilight's Edge embedded in her body. After Zulia forcibly rips the shard from Jinsoyun's body, she leaves through a Dragon Pulse, leaving Jinsoyun unconscious. Jinsoyun is brought back to Admiral Chol Mugo's ship, the Iron Shadow. Jinsoyun mumbles in her sleep but is unable to wake up. The hero travels to Zaiwei to seek help from Royal Healer Lee Yen but learn that Zulia has placed a Dark Enchantment on Jinsoyun. While Jinsoyun's body is intact, her soul is no longer within the Earthen Realms and cannot be healed by any normal means. Jinsoyun is kept under the royal doctor's care as the hero looks to travel to the western continent, Solak, in search of Zulia.

Soul Blade allows the user create, shape, and utilize all manner of bladed weapons[1] from Ether during combat, notably swords[2], sword spears[3] and claw blades.[1] The user is capable of splitting their weapon into two, allowing them to dual wield them and change their style of combat, and increase their physical speed and range of attack.[4]

Its Ether can also be used for other purposes, such as catapulting others into the air.[5] The blade can be broken if used on indestructible surfaces,[6] and it requires time for the user to create a replacement.[7] However, the blade still retains its usual attack power.[5][8]

Blade and Soul is Martial Arts base Fantasy where the only equipment you change is weapon ( through evolution upgrades more than equiping new ones), earring, ring and necklace and lastly this little pie chart looking circle called a soul shield (this is where a majority of stats are at). What your character looks like will depend totally on the outfit they are wearing (its purpose is purely cosmetic but some do enable world pvp between factions.) There are a few classes that are limited to certain races and each class is a sort of martial artist or "caster".

Yeah so far I have tinkered with Brawler (Vi from LoL?) Reaper (loli + chains = naughty) , Gunner (someone call for artillery strike?), Archer (deleted it, not my cup of tea), Berserker (Attacks.so.freaking.slow...) and Warrior ( lets jump out of the way). Over all Brawler is pretty easy to play, and does massive dps for a tank, Reaper is just flat out fun to watch with chains and sickles combos flying everywhere. Gunner was my first and probably my favorite so far. Everything else was filler to level with a friend or a alt on a server to try out the class. So far so good, not sure how deep I'll go into it but until Blade and soul comes out its a nice diversion.

In the 16th century, a sword surfaces that is so powerful, so evil that warriors from all over the globe seek it out. It is Soul Edge, a demon blade. From America to Europe to Japan, these warriors fight each other for the chance to obtain it. Soul Blade is a 3D weapons fighting game that chronicles their story.

The Reaver, and, later, the Soul Reaver, is a weapon which has appeared in every title in the Legacy of Kain series. It is a flamberge-class sword with a broad, undulating serpentine blade. Through most of the series, it is the signature weapon of the vampire Kain, and plays a key role in the games, as both the protagonists' ultimate weapon and a story element. In its physical manifestation, it can be wielded in Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Soul Reaver 2, Blood Omen 2 and Legacy of Kain: Defiance. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Soul Reaver 2 and Legacy of Kain: Defiance also include the later, spiritual version of the sword - the Wraith Blade - as a weapon.

The Reaver was originally an enchanted sword, forged by Vorador at the Ancient vampires' behest to destroy their prophesied adversary, the Hylden champion. It could drain its victims' Blood, but was altered when it absorbed the soul of the time-traveling wraith Raziel. Hereafter, Raziel's spirit inhabited the blade, and it obtained the ability to devour the souls of those it struck. Much later in Nosgoth's history, when Kain attacked Raziel with the physical blade, it proved unable to devour its younger self, and shattered, releasing Raziel's soul (the Wraith Blade). The sword's passage through time is a complicated one, and its existence has been, and will be, entwined with Raziel's for eternity within the Nosgoth universe.

The Soul Reaver possessed many unique qualities beyond its originally-intended purpose. As it acted as a vessel for Raziel's soul, it could be used to decouple history, creating paradoxes and new timelines if brought into proximity with Raziel or another version of itself. Its power could only be temporarily quelled by an artifact known as the Nexus Stone, and it could be enhanced with magical powers by the Balance Emblem. Most importantly, the physical Soul Reaver was the only weapon in Nosgoth capable of harming the Elder God, damaging him in both the Material and Spectral Realms. Thus, it was a vital component in Kain's ambition to destroy the Elder and restore the land.

Kain recognized this fabled soul-devouring weapon, whose origin had "been lost long ago". He deemed it his "kindred", thoroughly unaware just how true his remark would prove.[Blood Omen/Miscellaneous] Azimuth, the Dimension Guardian, noted his discovery with surprise, having been unaware that the Soul Reaver was hidden in her Cathedral. The newfound blade was greatly effective in the battle against her; a single strike was enough to kill her.[Blood Omen/8] On his exit from the Cathedral, Kain found another artifact - a time-streaming device - and, investigating the manipulations of the Time Guardian Moebius, he later found himself embroiled in the Battle of the Last Stand between the legions of the Nemesis and Willendorf's Army of the Last Hope.[Blood Omen/8][Blood Omen/9]
