Location: St Louis, MO
Duration: Contract
Client: TCS
Contract duration: 12+ Months
Primary Technical skills:
VMware ESXI, vCenter, NSX
JD/Responsibilities:
1) Analyses system requirements and performance of hardware/software systems and develops specific measures to increase the overall efficiency of these systems.
2) Installation, management, and routine upgrades of VMWARE infrastructure Develop and maintain automation of VMWARE infrastructure management.
3) Develop operation procedures of VMWARE infrastructure for Operations team.
4) Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on operating systems including Linux and Windows Server
5) Perform day to day troubleshooting and maintenance of VMware ESXI, vCenter, NSX and related servers.
6) Perform DISA STIGs against VMware servers and related installed software.
7) Apply operating system updates.
8) Able to take snapshots as per the requirement.
9) Have hands-on experience in Physical to Virtual migration.
10) LUN scanning on vCenter.
11) Develop and maintain vCenter Orchestrator automated workflows.
12) Operations including installation, configuration and support of server hardware, software and data backup and disaster recovery.
13) Proactively monitor and tune server performance.
14) Design, troubleshoot and maintain enterprise virtualization platforms.
