implaying my 10 hours of fifa 21, but when im at the menu it goes at 20 fps and i got a fps drop like every 5 seconds. in-game i have normal fps. i tried updating/reinstalling my drivers and cleaning origin cache. i don't know what to do, help pls
Thank you so much! Looked all over the internet and did a million things, but having freesync on my monitor was the reason everything stayed stuck at 12 fps in the menus and pre game. Thanks for the help once again!
I have changed the in game settings in fifa, as well as settings including vsync and frame capping on nvidia with no joy. This effects the frames I have in match play, but the frames in menu remain at 15 no matter what I do,even at the lowest settings.

Ingame when i use 21:9 resolution it works perfectly fine and i have 200-300fps but when i pause or when im in a menu i have about 15-20 fps.
Is there a fix for this or is it just poor optimization? I really want to use my ultrawide monitor for this game.
I solved the low fps problem by turning off freesync. obviously AMD GPU. I had the low fps only in the menus. it was very annoying. I had to deactivate it also in battlefield 1, the loading videos the low fps sent me the jerky game. there is probably a problem with some EA games. turning off freesync in those games solves the problem

I am having the exact same issue on my PS5 aswell I have tried with cross play on and off I have a disc ps5 but digital copy of the game and when I try to enter certain moments it gives an error message (picture attached) and sends back to main menu the update this morning advised had rectified this issue but it has not.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? FUT Moments -> Figment Tournament -> "Group Stage III" !! NOT squad battles -- Moments was not possible to enter as a part for error.
What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to enter the moment, the error message "We are sorry but there has been an error connecting to Fifa 23 Ultimate Team. You will be returned to FIFA 23 Main Menu". It is only for this one moment. The rest is able to complete as intented.
What should be happening instead? Enter moment for completion.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The bug is in moments tournament tales. And figment tournament. Everytime you try to play certain matches it disconects and logs you out. The games are Germany 74 Argentina 86 France 98 Brazil 02 And group stage 3 in the tournament
What happens when the bug occurs? Just say connection to the server lost logging you out. Every other game works fine it just the aforementioned ones every time you try them
What should be happening instead? You should be taken to the game
I have looked around the web, I have attempted to ask EA and nobody has been able to help with this problem for days. When I start FIFA 23, I am getting this main menu with a black background and there is no player animation there anymore. I can still start a quick game but, the goal celebration starts stuttering. I also can't access career mode, it get stuck and the only way out is forcing the application to stop.
Someone suggested running the game in compatibility with Windows 7, I tried that, it worked temporarily and today it's back to the black background. I repaired the files multiple times. Someone told me start the application through Origin, but that did not work. I have restarted the computer multiple times, I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. I even tried running the program as an administrator but, that didn't work at all.
I waited about three days for EA to ask for my account info, I then waited another day for them to finally respond with some solutions. To save people some time, here is the response with solutions they gave me.
