Dear Friends,

SE Cell is organizing a visit to a Model Village – ‘Punsari’ , Sabarkantha district which is around 150 Kms from Anand. The village is a ‘model’ in the sense that it houses some exceptional facilities like Wi-Fi, CCTV, Village bus service etc. The Sarpanch of the village Shri Himanshu Patel is an enthusiastic young guy and because of his judicious use of government schemes the village can boast of these facilities which can put shame on many cities in India.

Shri Patel has agreed to give us 4-5 hours of his time on Sunday, we would be leaving on Sunday morning around (6:30-7:00 AM) and will come back in the evening by 7:00 PM.

We are not sure of the expenses yet but the transportation should cost us around Rs. 300/- head. We are thinking to hire a bus from the Institute, if you have any other ideas please let us know.
