Hey,

The main hotel for DerbyCon has been sold out for months so I
wondering did anybody book a room they no longer want/need.

I'm flying in from Brucon late on Friday the 28th and leaving Monday
morning for New York.
So if anybody has a spare room or know a good nearby hotel/hostel that
other Hackers will been staying at please let me know.

Regards,

The Marriott a block away is a nice and popular (but expensive) place to stay. Several good choices for food in downtown Louisville, but I would recommend making a trip out to the Bardstown Road area (10-15mins) for some of the better places to eat - Lynn's Paradise Cafe is one of my personal favorites. Inexpensive cab ride, or I will have a car with me if we want to get a group.

Done and done. Reservation at the Marriott in, and Lynn's sounds good! I recall some good Indian food last time at the end of DerbyCon too.
