Registration is now open for ISDDE 2016!

Theme: Infrastructuring by Design

Dates: September 19-22, 2016

Location: Utrecht, the Netherlands

ISDDE welcomes a diversity of designers

Are you an educational designer, interested in raising the quality of educational processes, and materials or assessments? Do you design professional development for educators? Are you interested in educational design at specific system levels, from tutorials for students all the way to national arrangements that make good education happen? Are you interested in facilitating interaction between system levels, while acknowledging that “upscaling is not an afterthought, but a fundamental design consideration”?

If any of these topics interests you, and you have affinity for STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) education, then ISDDE 2016 may be the place for you! The ISDDE conference is deliberately kept small (typically under 80 participants), to enable participants from a variety of backgrounds (curriculum development units, educational publishers, teachers’ associations, universities, etc.) to pursue the goals of the society:

· improving the design and development process

· building a design community

· increasing our impact on educational practice

About ISDDE:

ISDDE recognises excellence in design through an annual prize

ISDDE shares insights through the journal, Educational Designer

ISDDE welcomes new members
