Firstly season's greetings and the very best wishes for a happy and healthy 2018, wherever you may be.

Secondly an announcement that the next ISDDE conference will be in May in Galway, that the website is now public 
https://sites.google.com/view/isdde-2018/home and therefore registration is now OPEN!!! We're absolutely delighted at the programme that Tony Hall and his colleagues have put together, including two amazing international keynotes from Zalman Usiskin and Kaye Stacey. We hope we will see you there.

In the meantime do encourage colleagues, especially those at the beginning of their design career, to join us as 
members or fellows. It's free and very very worth while.
