update with the masjid council:

-wants to see what we're doing

-mostly handle the younger crowd

-some petty cash left

-receipt for the bowling event

    -most everybody covered the expense for bowling for the most part

Shura Council:

-a rep from every masjid

-discuss issues together/separately 

-create a youth shura council

    -every month

    -organized moderator

    -inter-youth group video project

        -combat claims with Muslim Youth

        -anthropology project

        -study muslim youth in america

    -leadership training

    -provide scholarships for school and study abroad

    -provide umrah and hajj trips

    -do collaborative projects with other countries

    -massive youth calendar 

        -shura council calendar

    -sharpen public speaking

        -minority on campus

        -give khutbahs

-provide money and other resources

-put under the microscope

-prepare people to get ready for attacks against muslim youth

    -set a couple workshop

    -positive promotion of who we are

Alright i got some info on Paintballing on the 27 of Feb. 

Its a Saturday so we are considered a Private group. To be considered a private group we need at least 20 people, but if we have 30 people then the first and 15th player is free. We have to make a $240 deposit at least 2 weeks in advance. 

Alright pricing info. its $20 per person for the whole day (7:30 AM-4:00PM)

Gun rental: $11

Mask: $4

Im a little confused on the tank(CO2) and paint pricing. Better to talk to them about that in Person

So overall its gonna cost $35 per person.

And the deposit of $240 is going to be subtracted from our final price at the end. 

And there are like 18 fields, so we rotate after we finish one game on field 1, we then go to field 2...etc.

ok ICOI said they can come but omar il farouq said 2 weeks notice isnt enough time to plan, advertise, and get permission slips signed (dont ask why they're so freaken slow). and i tried to find out if there's a person in charge of riverside's yg and the girls said they dont have one so i think the girls are just gonna come unofficially as a yg and taher talk to malek bendelhoum for the guys. and marya ayloush needs details for the bonfire. time, place, speakers.

I had already confirmed Loon for Feb 6th 3:30-8pm. We just gotta come up with a schedule. Remember Taher, we had a meeting? I'm just waiting on the follow up for the flyer idea and lyrics. We need to get crackin on that...

i looked up lyrics the other day and pretty much all of his songs are meaningless...for title since he was part of bad boy records, maybe we can do Bad Boy Gone Good or maybe since his most famous songs are I Need a Girl Parts 1 and 2, we can do I Need [insert Islamic word here, maybe Islam or Iman?] Part 1.

salaams everyone!

ok so im not sure what happened, i sent various yg leaders an email to bring supplies for the bonfire and both al ansar and san gabe said they were not given enough time to prepare. also, i haven't heard back from garden grove. People are coming to the bonfire, but we dont have official youth groups to help us out with supplies. I'm just wondering who were the people that were contacted a couple weeks ago and which yg's are confirmed.

well i contacted rohil jay...for garden grove and he said that he told garden grove masjid...but i can call him again and tell him to bring any supplies or to make sure they're coming...because he told me that garden grove was confirmed???
