Good day,
I recently reviewed the ATBD and Operational Guides for ISCCP  and wanted to learn if there has been any further use of the "sliding mode" with publication references and what sort of latency there /computational requirements if looking to use the  ISCCP processing code in "near real time" for full Disk GOES .  I am looking into it as an option for either real time use or at least a portion of the initial training of potential algorithms that then are used in real time.  Any updates to its use in this manner would be greatly appreciated. All documentation led me to here for any Q&A I might have.

Hi
We don't currently use the sliding sindow approach. Instead, we process each satellite month independently.

Hope this helps--
