Transmogrify - verb ( -fies, -fied) [ trans. (often be transmogrified) chiefly humorous
transformesp. in a surprising or magical manner the cucumbers that were ultimately transmogrified into pickles.
Transfigure - verb [ trans. (usu. be transfigured)transform into something more beautiful or elevated the world is made luminous and is transfigured.
I like the meanings of both of those, but will people be able to remember them from a marketing stand point?
iTransmogrify
iTransfigure
:)
We are also looking at variations of morph, transform... etc. I got these ideas by playing around in apple's thesaurus.
Any thoughts?
I did like the GetFit idea.

iTransmogrify is already a thing for the iPhone (http://joemaller.com/
2008/01/12/itransmogrify/), I like Transfigure though.

Yeah, that's a thing. But with that one there are no legal issues.

Besides, Transmogrify is still an option.

I like Transmogrify but it might be a little awkward for the average
person...Transfigure might be easier or something like Metamorphose,
or Vertumnus (god who could change shape), or something else in
mythology such as Phoenix.

Phoenix would be excellent. I can't imagine that I wouldn't have all
sorts of copy right trademark issues with it though. :(

Does how you spell it count?
Feenix
Pheenix
of course that's getting away from the idea....

and others like Cerberus (3-headed dog) for the 3 main functions of
iScale: Weight, Exercise, Food were way too abstract :)

Along that same line, you could go with Hygea the Greek goddess of
health.

This did come up. The problem with it is I'm not sure people could
spell it properly if they only heard it.
