Hi Everyone,

We are currently inviting applications for a 5-year postdoctoral researcher position in the Translational Psychology Group (Prof. Dr. Martin Bleichner) at the University of Oldenburg, Germany.
Our group is dedicated to bringing neuroscientific methods into real-world contexts, with a strong focus on auditory perception and mobile EEG technologies such as ear-EEG and the nEEGlace. In the context of the Excellence Cluster Hearing4all.connect, we are establishing a mobile laboratory on wheels, which will allow us to conduct EEG experiments in authentic environments (schools, clinics, workplaces, etc.).

The successful candidate will:

  *   Develop and refine paradigms for mobile EEG (ear-EEG, nEEGlace).
  *   Contribute to setting up and running experiments in diverse real-world contexts.
  *   Lead data analysis of long-duration EEG recordings from naturalistic settings.
  *   Publish and present research internationally.
  *   Have opportunities to develop independent projects and apply for third-party funding.
Requirements: PhD in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, or related fields; strong background in EEG/time-series analysis and statistics; programming skills (Python, MATLAB, or R); and a track record of publications. German language skills (or willingness to learn) are expected.

We would be very grateful if you could circulate this opportunity within your networks.
Best regards,
Martin Bleichner
