The Speech Technology Group in the Department of Medical Physics and
Acoustics at Oldenburg University has an opening (75% E13 TV-L, 3 years,
m/f/d) for a

*Research Associate / Ph.D. Student for Speech Processing with
Machine-Learning Optimization of Physically Inspired Algorithms*

The position includes opportunity for preparing a Ph.D. with primary
supervision by Prof. Gerald Enzner in ourSchool VI for Medicine and
Health Sciences. The group for Speech Technology and Hearing Aids
delivers research and education for enhanced speech reception in adverse
acoustic conditions. *Your field of research* consists in the
optimization of hands-free speech and audio communication with acoustic
echo cancellation, single- and multichannel processing, adaptive signal
processing, and machine learning. The research pursues a good balance of
profound theoretical development and implementation aspects for
experimental prototype evaluation. We expect research documentation in
excellent conferences and journals, which is the baseline for graduation
in the Ph.D. program at our Carl von Ossietzky University also.

The official job ad with requirements for application is found here
