Fantasy Forums?

I was in the shower this morning, brainstorming about how this Google
Group might complement and enhance ISCABBS, and the idea of Fantasy
Forums came to mind.

Yeah, if a person has a forum idea they can apply to have a Users
Mutating Forum> set up, but with Fantasy Forums it would be even
easier, and perhaps be a way to test out crazy ideas before getting a
Mutating Forum or even a regular forum set up.

My idea is simple. Say you want to have a forum dedicated to
discussing something like, for example, the performance of Forum
Moderators on ISCABBS, what one should look for in an FM, good and bad
FM traits, etc.

All you'd have to do is create a new topic in this group (send an
Email with a new subject line if you are posting by Email) called:

Fantasy Forum: FM Critiques

And you'd essentially have a forum where everyone could post on that
topic indefinately. Unlike the BBS, posts wouldn't scroll, either.

Who knows, this group might help contribute a "slush pile" of forum
ideas that the greater BBS could pick up on and use officially after
they'd proven themselves here. :-)
