Hi Dan,

 

This is very nice to hear, someone from the Philippines reviewing/contributing to the v3 of the CSA Guidance. :)

 

Just wanted to share with you and everyone in the group that I attended the inaugural training course for Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) in San Francisco last year (as part of the pre-con of RSA Conference 2011) which was organized by Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) and facilitated by Rich Mogull from Securosis. I believe I'm the only one from the Philippines (?) on that class.

 

I understand that there has been some concerns over the v2.1 guidance which needs to be revised and updated as a take away from that course. Hence, the result is the v3 guidance.

 

This is a very much needed reference as cloud computing is getting more and more acceptance/adoption.
