--Subject: Re: Teacher Appreciation Week (same email new title)I have been asked to share some examples.Below are a few ideas that were discussed at the last PA Chairs meetup.1. Potluck lunch in the Teachers' Lounge made by CP's2. Give the teachers kids' drawings bound into books.3. Give signed class picture after the potluck lunch. There are some logistical issues with #1.The teachers take lunch breaks at different times, so the food would need to be set up for the teachers to help themselves, and we would need someone to help clean up, return dishes, etc.
We had also talked about breakfast, however, it would be awkward for the kids to not receive a breakfast, just the teacher, etc. and it would also interfere with their morning schedule.

Subject: Teacher Appreciation Week (same email new title)Hello Class Parents,In preparation for Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10), the PA would like to organize and show our appreciation to all of our teachers. We are brainstorming on a number of activities, but contacting you because the kids and parents have a more intimate relationship with their respective teachers. It can be something that the kids put together with their parents, or something organized by the parents in your classroom. As Class Parents, please send me your ideas by Tuesday and then we'll discuss next steps.
Best,Susanna

Daniel is going to be at Poly Prep’s camp with his younger brother. Not sure if they have spots open but I am sure he’d love a friend there as well!

Alicia – interesting to note, the company I launched when the kids started nursery http://KidKlass.com will be hosting the last minute summer camp fair CAMP PANIC again this year on June 9. Also, we will have a website, camppanic.com this year with a listing of available summer camp weeks. My research has shown that many camps that are full even right now may have spots open up by then due to cancellations from people who planned early but now have to change their plans.
Did anyone else notice that the public school calendar (which isb usually follows) has school starting September 9? I haven’t seen any camps for Sept 2, 3,4,5 – the 4 days after labor day before school starts (the 4/5 are Rosh Hashanah)
In case it helps – Stoney’s schedule – Luca is welcome to join her:
Broadway Musical Camp (http://aclassactny.com Midtown manhattan) July 8-12 Spaces Available
AYSO (we haven’t received confirmation) July 15-19 Reg deadline passed
Brooklyn Music School July 29-August 2 Spaces Available
Kinderzoo Prospect Park Camp with Amelia August 26-Aug 30 Waitlist

Hi, Just wondering what camps people are doing that may still have spots open. We have a couple weeks to fill in and Luca would love to join his classmates. Thanks!
