Subject: [ISB-Parents] ISB Day of Service - Parent Help Needed!

Hi parents, 

In preparation for ISB's Day of Service on Fri, May 31st, we're asking parents to help out with a few things:

1) Gardening tools to borrow (small rakes/gloves) - the 5 & 6th graders will be helping to beautify the trees around the school and neighborhood and picking up garbage.  Please label any tools with your child's name so we can return these to you and drop off at reception.  Drop off before Fri, May 31th.

2) Legos (small Legos and larger Duplos) - the 4th graders will be designing/donating Lego sets to a local daycare.  If you have extras at home you would like to get rid of, please bring them in asap!  Stick'em in a ziplock and drop them off at reception.  Drop off by Tues, May 28th.

3) Parent Volunteers!  The following classes need a few parents to help out.  If you're available, please email me directly:

Nursery - 2 parents each class (approx. 1 hr in the morning - the students will be helping to clean their toys in the yard)
Pre-K - 2 parents each class (approx. 1 hr in the morning - the students will be helping to clean their toys in the yard)
Kindergarten - 10-11am Carroll Park beautification - 2 parents each class
1st Grade - 1:15-2:15pm Carroll Park beautification - 2 parents each class
2nd Grade - Cobble Hill Health Center performance - 2pm - 1 parent each class
