One of our largest financial
clients is looking for a Configuration Manager for a 6+ month contract in San
Francisco, CA.
Max w2 rate is $50 per hour
(Candidates MUST be US citizens, GC Holder, EAD)
Requirements:
· 3 to 5 years of IT work experience with at least 2
years related to infrastructure configuration management
· ITIL certification required
· Knowledge of ISO/CMMI/IEEE
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information
Systems, or other related field
Responsibilities:
· Develop and document IT infrastructure
Configuration Management policies, processes, procedures and standards.
· Define the configuration baselines of environment's
infrastructure as a control state against which the evaluation of
infrastructure support service is managed
· Perform a configuration status accounting and
verify activities using the baseline as a comparison point to ensuring that the
changes/releases are effectively implemented
· Mitigate the infrastructure configuration related
failures, manage and document the offending configuration parameters,
preventing the existence of unsynchronized environments
· Evaluate and support implementation of Discovery
Tool and CMDB
· Participate in department's change management
process by providing adequate infrastructure configuration management support
· Provide infrastructure Configuration Management
support to the Software Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, and
Performance Testing Groups ensuring integrity and stability of the
pre-production environments, consisting of 800+ servers, WebLogic, Oracle, SQL,
Unix, etc.
