As the battles against the enemies progress, Jupiter's mysterious powers increase bit by bit and reveals a secret: he was found unconscious by the Interpol wearing his armor. Shinya Takeda is an amnesiac: he cannot remember who he is and what he did. In spite of this, he receives the support and friendship of the other ZAC members (except for Akira Hojo, the wielder of Mars Bit and ZAC's field commander, who is jealous and distrustful of Takeda).
The friendship and the union among the ZAC members grow more and more as they defeat powerful enemies until the appearance of Lucifer, another mystery man donning similar powered armor who hates Jupiter. Allied with Death Trap, Lucifer has more advanced and powerful weapons than those from ZAC. He is the first enemy that can defeat Jupiter and the other Cybercops. In fact, he almost kills Jupiter.
During the battles against ZAC, Lucifer reveals why he hates Jupiter: according to him, the both came from the future and were allies in the war between humankind and the computers, but Jupiter supposedly betrayed the humans. Because of his amnesia, Takeda does not know if what Lucifer says is true or not, so he decides to fight him to death. In the middle of their duel, however, Jupiter remembers the truth: there were actually three men who came form the future; the third one was Baron Kageyama, one of Death Trap'smembers in the present and the real traitor. From then on, Lucifer becomes an ally of ZAC, without formally joining the team, only helping the Cybercops from time to time. In fact, he often shows up in time to turn things around for ZAC when they are facing defeat.
After countless battles, threats and dangers, ZAC and Lucifer finally defeat Baron Kageyama, who dies in a fiery explosion. In his final moments, Kageyama reveals his true purpose: to ensure that the world would be ruled by AI in order to avoid an environmental collapse. The explosion also makes a time-travelling tube appear, leading to the future. Thus, Jupiter and Lucifer return to their proper time and ZAC officer Tomoko Uesugi (who had fallen in love with Takeda) decides to join them. The world is safe thanks to ZAC.

Dennou Keisatsu Cybercop (電脳警察サイバーコップ, Dennō Keisatsu Saibākoppu) is a Japanese tokusatsu TV series. First created in 1988 by Toho Enterprises, the show was an attempt to create a Tokusatsu series using a Super Sentai motif, but the idea was dropped after the unaired pilot. The series itself still slightly resembled a sentai show, with most of the protagonists wearing color-coordinated armor. The show was broadcast on NTV and aired from October 2, 1988 to July 5, 1989. It also aired in Brazil via the Rede Manchete stations back in 1990.
Battling the criminal organization DeathTrap, a group of elite ZAC officers wears high-tech armors called Bit Suits, which confer them superhuman capabilities. They are soon joined by Shin'ya Takeda, a stranger from the 23rd Century who, strangely enough, has his own Bit Suit, and learn that their actions in the present can help reshape for better the apocalyptic future from which Takeda came.
The original Japanese show, Juukou B-Fighter and its sequel B-Fighter Kabuto, did not star a group of children who magically grew when they were in their superhero gear. Instead, it had the typical tokusatsu premise of having a team of specialised fighters saving the Earth from an invading dimensional menace.
One of the most successful of their attempts is Chouseishin Gransazer, which had four elemental tribes of heroes battling one another for power. Each of the 12 main heroes is based on star signs. The main character, Sazer Tarious, is based on Sagitarius.
Awesome Music: The opening, Cyber Heart/A roar to tomorrow. The ending, Shooting Star, being sung by Tomoko Uesugi's actress should also count too. Cult Classic: Amongst tokusatsu fans, this series gets a lot of love despite it's budgetary shortcomings due to it's likeable cast, high concept, and suit design among others. Fair for Its Day: As badly aged the green-screening is nowadays, in 1988 when the show ran it was actually considered top of the line stuff and very impressive on the budget it presumably had. Germans Love David Hasselhoff: For a series that seemed to be made on a budget, it has quite a following among Brazilian tokusatsu fans. How much of one? It got as big as Juspion over there. Special Effects Failure: A staple of the series, due in no part to combining green-screening and 16 mm filming (Toei's series use the 35 mm format, just to give an idea). This is because, around that time, Toho was producing Godzilla vs. Biollante, and didn't want to divert too many resources for a TV series.
