New track for short contributed talks or posters at ISAIM-2024 (Ft. Lauderdale. Florida, Jan. 8-10, 2024)   https://isaim2024.cs.ou.edu/index.html

Dear ISAIM past participants,

     In addition to the ISAIM-2024 regular track and special sessions, we are organizing a new track for fifteen-minute contributed talks in the style of the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM/AMS), and a poster session. Presentations should be on new research. One-page abstracts will be published on the ISAIM website.

     If you are interested in giving a short talk, or presenting a poster, please send a title and 1-page abstract by November 30th using the Latex template below to mar...@golumbic.com   Notification of acceptance will be sent within 8 days of submission. In addition, if you have an exceptional grad student to recommend as a speaker, or a colleague who also should be invited, they would be welcome to submit.

    ISAIM-2024, the biennial International Symposium for Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics, will be meeting in-person on January 8-10, 2024 at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel. The Plenary speakers will be Edith Elkind, Geoff Sutcliffe and Susan Schneider. ISAIM is sponsored by Florida Atlantic University.

    Hope to see you and your colleagues in Florida this January.

Sample abstract:

\documentclass[12pt]{article}

  \oddsidemargin 0em

  \evensidemargin 0em

  \subsubsection*{Title of Sample Abstract}

  Frederick Hoffman$^*$, Madeline Gonzalez, Florida Atlantic University

  \medskip

  The abstract is meant to convey enough information about the talk

  for people to make an informed decision about whether to attend it,

  and in many cases to enable participants to request copies of the

  papers.  We strive for uniformity of appearance and attractiveness.

  An abstract in which most of the space is occupied by the title,

  authors, and detailed addresses is not very attractive.
