Hi,

I have a study which will not validate, I get :

Field.parseHeader(): bad syntax for the header: 100_timecourse2_tho1(Ws)_26_1-A,5_01_15252

The filenames were created by Biologists, the ISA-Tab was extracted
from mzML files with mzML2ISA. I found in the "ISA-TAB-Nano Meeting Notes,
November 13, 2012" that "Ontology accession number should be in parenthesis ().",
but that comment referred to Characteristics.

I only have the () in Sample source and Sample Name. I am Using ISAcreator-1.7.9.

Any ideas short of renaming the samples, which I'd hope to avoid ?

Yours,
Steffen

Hi Steffen,

I just created a dummy file with similar looking node names and it went through validation.
can you send us the offending files offlist so I can investigate and try to reproduce the pb.
Right off the bat, while not ideal, i'd say replacing the parenthesis and the comma with underscores might be the quickest solution.

cheers

P
