where can I find large repositories of ISA-TAB data?

Hi folks,

I am interested in annotating causal statements that have been automatically extracted from the literature with experimental design metadata about the causal statements by joining on the publication ID and it *seems* like ISA-TAB should fit the bill.  Is there a large repository of ISA-TAB metadata  somewhere  that would contain that information?  My preliminary investigations have found that  that ISA-TAB is supported by everyone but accessible by no one (except maybe MetaboLights).

Also this doesn't seem like a super active group, so if there is somewhere else I should enquire, please point me in the right direction.

Hi Jeremy,

As you point out ISA-Tab is officially accepted by EMBL-EBI Metabolights repository as its experiment design metadata component.

As number of projects (NASA Gene Lab, Scientific Data) use the specification to structure similar information but the data is access controlled.

Our team currently does not maintain a repository of all ISA (TAB or JSON) formatted information.

We are currently actively develeping several new components, with one specifically focusing on expression experimental plans.

I would need more insights about the INDRA project, its outputs to understand how to use ISA  for the entities you are covering .
