Highly recommended. Contact me if you want any information or through the links below. We had two people from Solomon Islands take part in the trial run of course 1 in November.

Distance training & mentoring for C4D programme developers

·         Learn to develop and deliver effective participatory communication programmes

·         Work with experienced facilitators and mentors to create delivery-ready new programmes within 6-9 months

CLP Developer’s Certificate: Take this unique set of practical distance training and mentoring certificate courses to develop the skills and know-how to plan, design and deliver effective, low-cost participatory communication programmes focusing on local community health and development priorities and create new or improved community learning programmes in the process. Individual short courses run 4 to 10 weeks. Certificates are awarded jointly by the Commonwealth of Learning, the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication and regional partners (see below) for each short course and for the overall programme. The certificate programme is designed to enable individuals, organisations or groups of individuals and organisations to create new community learning programmes.

The course next month will be the second time we’ve offered C4D: Why. How. Now. (5 weeks starting 16/Feb).  Friends from Isabel may recognise the name of the workshop. It’s the same as the face-to-face workshop that Jerry Watkins did in 2012, which inspired part of this online course.

The main objective is to mentor groups to create new C4D programmes in their communities.

Please feel free to come to us with any questions, etc.
