Appeal to All Members and Students of ICAI - Uttarakhand Flood Relief

As you all were very well aware that the fierce cloudburst was witnessed in Uttrakhand resulting in huge damage across the state and hundreds of deaths. Thousands reported missing and several villages were flown away at Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
The death rate is between 50000-75,000 with a mass loss of villages, many lost there mother, father and many lost there whole family. While there has been an active effort to rescue pilgrims, the local people have lost everything. We salute the efforts done by Indian Army, Air Force, ITBP, NDRF and other NGO's for providing immediate releif to effected people.
Images of devastation in Uttarakhand are gut-wrenching! We cannot even try to fathom the pain and suffering they are facing up there. While we cannot change things, but we can’t also just sit here mum and do nothing. So we have decided to help and we know that you are with us in this. If we all can contribute one day earning for them, then collectively we can make it a huge amount for them.
Please donate as much as you can so that valuable work can be done. We will donate the money in PM national relief fund. We should also encourage our clients to contribute as a social responsibility towards such a Nobel cause.
