REMINDER: Call for Nominations - 2026 IPS Graduate Paper Award

Dear IPS Members,

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit nominations for the 2026 IPS Graduate Paper Award is in two weeks, on July 31st, 2025. 

If you were a graduate student by the time you presented at a panel sponsored or co-sponsored by the IPS Section at the ISA 2025 Annual Convention in Chicago, please consider applying. Self-nominations are encouraged.

 

Nominations may also be made by anyone in the profession. We encourage discussants and chairs on IPS (co-)sponsored panels to let us know about outstanding papers you encountered.

 

Nominations must be emailed to the award committee chair Philippe M. Frowd (pfr...@uottawa.ca), accompanied by the following supporting material:  

1. Contact information of the nominee
2. A copy of the relevant paper
   

The awardee will receive a certificate and cheque for $100, to be awarded at the 2026 ISA Annual Convention in Columbus. Nominated papers must be original (i.e. not published by the time of the presentation), single-authored, and recipients must be current members of ISA when the award is granted.
