DEADLINE EXTENDED: Call for Nominations: 2026 IPS Distinguished Scholar Award

Dear colleagues,

The IPS section would like to inform you that the deadline to submit a nomination for this year’s IPS Distinguished Scholar award has been extended to Wednesday, June 11th.

 

We understand that many people may not wish to travel to Columbus next March, for a range of valid reasons. Recent communications from ISA HQ acknowledge this, and suggest that the organization is considering alternative/virtual participation options for ISA 2026. However, nothing concrete has been announced.

 

In this context, we would ask that your nomination letters for this year’s Distinguished Scholar award mention whether the nominee:

i) is willing to attend the conference in-person, or

ii) prefers an alternative format (such as, but not limited to, an eventual ISA virtual platform).

 

Nominations are composed of a supporting letter of no more than one page, along with a CV, sent to the Section Chair Philippe M. Frowd (pfr...@uottawa.ca) with the subject line "Distinguished Scholar Nomination".
