Dear IPS Members,
The whole IPS section team looks forward to seeing many of you in Columbus later this month!
In the meantime, we have a few items of note to share with you:
The 2026 IPS business meeting will take place at 7:00 PM in room 91-Clark at the Hyatt Regency, followed immediately by the joint STAIR-IPS reception at 8:00 PM in 30-Franklin B at the Hyatt Regency.
We are also pleased to invite you to attend the 2026 IPS Distinguished Scholar panel honouring Vicki Squire, which will be held online on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026, at 10:00 EDT (14:00 GMT / 15:00 CET). Featured on the panel are Vicki Squire, Alexandria Innes, Debbie Lisle, Kim Rygiel, Mark Salter, Jef Huysmans, and Philippe Frowd. Congratulations to Jittip Mongkolnchaiarunya, winner of the 2026 IPS Graduate Paper Award for 'Epistemic Exclusion in Climate Science: Why We Grow the Wrong Trees in the Wrong Places’, presented at ISA 2025 in Chicago.
