Dear IPS Members,
It was great to see many of you at ISA this year, even though this was a smaller and very different feeling conference than usual!
The IPS Section has a few announcements regarding our 2026-2027 leadership to make.
The conference is the changeover point for the IPS leadership and this year is no exception, with Renata Summa taking over as IPS chair for 2026-27. Thank you so much to Philippe Frowd for his outstanding work as the 2025-2026 IPS section chair! He will now serve the role of past chair for 2026-2027.
We’d also like to congratulate the newly elected members of the section leadership: Erica Resende was elected Vice-Chair/Program Chair, Akinyemi Oyewale was elected as member-at-large, and Kaian Lam was also elected as member-at-large. Congratulations, and thank you all for stepping up and getting involved.
We’d also like to extend thanks to members who are leaving the team this year: Nadine Voelkner served a full cycle as vice-chair, chair, and past chair. Kenneth Gofigan Kuper served two terms as the section’s secretary-treasurer. Samantha Agarwal served as member-at-large for a two-year cycle.
Attached to this email are the section’s annual report (as submitted in late 2025) as well as slides from the IPS business meeting in Columbus.
Without further ado, here is the incoming IPS team for 2026-27:
