"Icelandic Witches" pop group

Hi,
In the early eighties, there was an Icelandic pop group which I believe
in an English translation was called something like "The Icelandic
Witches" (I do not have the Icelandic name). They had a hit song around
1983 that also enjoyed some international popularity.
I have tried to search for them, but came up empty-handed. I wonder if
this name rings a bell with someone? If so, maybe you could be kind
enough to provide me with the Icelandic name?
