Happy Holidays Irvington families!
It's almost winter break and we wanted to send a few reminders before we're in the full holiday swing.
Budget discussions will be starting in February.
If you plan to make a proposal for our 2020-21 budget, the deadline is Friday, February 14th. While every proposal will be presented for consideration at the March meeting, it is important to get feedback from school administration and staff to be certain that the PTA mission and school needs are aligned. Give yourself time! For more information please contact

***Our Auction committee is prepping hard for this years The Price Is Right themed auction on Saturday, March 7th. It's guaranteed to be a great time for the benefit of our kids and teachers. The auction committee is still looking for someone with videography skills to film the special appeal. The following volunteers are also needed for the night of-
-check-in (3)
-run games/gift card wall and wine wall (6-8)
-bagging/checking out auction items
This year, due to the unforeseen closing of the SCRIP Center in June, we will not be doing SCRIP for teachers.
With the generosity of Por Que No?, and on behalf of PTA, teachers and staff, IED included, will be provided with a catered lunch on Friday, December 20.
Let's send our teachers and staff into the holiday season with our gratitude for the educational and emotional committment they make to our kids. We have a dedicated and thoughtful staff, who spend many, many hours working to give our kids what they need to feel safe and engaged at school.
Feel free to treat the teachers and staff to something special from your family, but know that even a few words from you or your child goes a long way toward deeping our community connection.
Have a great Holiday Break, everyone. See you in 2020!
Your ever grateful PTA Board,
Chris Chen
