Hello Irvington families!

As you may eell be aware, All PPS events have been postponed for 30 days.

How does this impact PTA?

First, our April PTA meeting will be postponed until further notice. Since we are right in the middle of budget discussions, it will likely mean that when we are back on schedule, our meetings may be extended.

Civic Use of Building permits have been canceled. Right now, that means STEAM night, Spaghetti Dinner and the Spring Book Fair will have to be rescheduled. We will let you know asap.

The District has shared important information regarding how to access food and resources if your family is in need. We have been able to meet the needs of our identified families, but not everyone is identified. This is a great opportunity to grow in community and look out for each other. You can find information here.

Most importantly, while this is referred to as an 'extended spring break', school closures are for the sake of slowing down the spread of the COVID19 virus through social distancing. This is a public health issue. Follow the guidelines of the CDC.

Keep your families and your community safe:)

See you soon!

Your PTA Board
