Hello Irvington Families-

Our final PTA meeting of the year is this coming Monday, June 1st, at 6:30pm.
The Zoom link is here:

We received a last minute proposal, regarding support for tutoring over the summer. Please take a look before the meeting and be prepared to vote.  If you need to pay your yearly dues, you can do so here- oregonpta.org/membership

Additionally we will be voting on sending an additional $2500 to Boise-Eliot Humboldt and Martin Luther King Jr School PTAs. See proposal here-

And finally, we are still in need of a new President, Vice President and Secretary for our 2020-21 board. Please reach out pta...@irvingtonschool.com, for more questions.  If we do not have president, secretary positions filled by June 30th, we will not have access to our resources per our charter.

There is a lot that is still unknown about the next year. Everyone is doing their best with the knowledge that we have. Thank you for continuing to show up and share your opinions and perspectives. I know that the perception in PTA is that the board of officers- president, vice president, secretary and treasurers, make the finally decisions. That is not true. It is our job to suss out the bureaucratic details of process to make sure what we are doing is legitimate and in accordance with our 501c3 guidelines. All decisions made pertaining to the budget are made by a consensus of paid voting members. THIS COULD BE YOU.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday!

Stay safe, and be well.

The PTA Board
