Irma did a great job of summarizing the meeting. Alison Abell was really great in educating the staff present on the issues of TAG students. Her kids are Access students but she broadened her presentation to include many TAG issues.

PPS puts out an email publication called PULSE. I can't forward it to all of you, but you can sign up. Yesterday's issue included an interview with Xavier Botano, the PPS Chief Academic Officer who specifically mentioned the needs of TAG students as a piece of the planning for the redesign.

No school board members were present yesterday and I encourage everybody to contact board members as well to remind them of TAG needs and other concerns you have in the redesign. Ultimately the Board will vote and decide what direction this process will take.

Also, let's not forget the January election on Measures 66 and 67. If these fail, Irvington stands to lose approximately $400 per student immediately.
