We want to extend our gratitude to Mayor Farrah Khan and Vice-mayor Anthony Kuo for championing community badminton for Irvine residents.
We also want to thank the Director of Community Services, Pamela Baird and her team for embracing the badminton community input and constantly working to improve the city's badminton program.
2) Vice-mayor Anthony Kuo dropped in for a visit
Residents were delighted by the surprise visit by our vice-mayor. Some residents had a chance to talk to our vice-mayor about badminton and the evolving needs of Irvine’s changing demographics.
We would like to thank the vice-mayor for the visit and we hope to see him on the badminton court again.
